My 8yr old daughter loves this! She says she wants to be a pediatrician so I gift her real medical equipment for her medical bag. She loves checking up on her family. This device is clear and easy to use. We love how it speaks the vitals, also the screen changes color depending on blood pressure level. Green (good), yellowish (ok) red (high)

This blood pressure monitor is for home use.. and it is very intuitive. You put your arm through the cuff, following the picture, and turn it on. It pumps air into the cuff, it gets really, really tight (but never painful) and it gets a blood pressure reading, as well as a hear rate. The interesting thing is that there is a voice that tells you what too do, when it starts, and then the voice reads off your results. You can store the readings, up to 90 readings for each of two people. The voice tells you if you reading are good, or not. It was a little odd that the device uses 4 AAA batteries, but you do have the option of just using the usb C cable, which was included. I was able to get my BP as soon as I installed the batteries.. It is very easy to do. There is a family member that is prone to high blood pressure, and we do watch it carefully. I think for something that important you really should have a backup monitor. Overall, I am really happy with this.

As with many items on Amazon, the directions were slightly unclear, but after a few tries, I realized that I was putting my arm in the cuff incorrectly, and that was the reason I was getting an Error message initially. That was not the only problem, however. It kept telling me (literally...it SPEAKS to you. ) that it needed batteries. Strange because it was lit up & speaking, so I didn't understand that. I was delighted to see that it came with 4 triple-a batteries, however they didn't seem to fit in there snugly enough & felt very loose when installing them. I think this was the reason for the battery error. I used my own batteries and that fixed that problem.Once I finally got the setup straightened out, it all went very well. It is easy to use, doesn't take long for a reading and has a beautiful display. I have had a wrist one for years & it did not give the time & date of the readings, which I hated. This one does. It also accommodates 2 separate users, another thing that I truly value. I like to look back on my readings, and know when they were taken, and also that they were indeed my BP readings. I like this machine very much. And it was the type (cuff) that was recommended by my Dr, as he said the wrist type were very inaccurate.
